Hello everyone-
We have had a very busy and wonderful past couple of weeks. I would have updated a little bit sooner, but Matt just got the internet hooked back up late last night for me.
We did get home late last Monday afternoon. After a very eventful trip home, we finally made it. Addi did very well on the airplane ride home, sleeping the whole way. I will have to post details of our very humorous trip home a little bit later when I get a few more minutes. Pretty funny!!!!
I am enjoying every minute of newly remodeled home and getting to spend time just looking at Addi. Something I would have been able to do without the help of our friends and neighbors!!!
Addi is doing wonderful as ever. She is gaining weight and is now above her birth weight. In fact, she has quite the little double chin going on right now. :)
She is letting us get a little bit of rest at night but letting us know that she is now part of the family. Addi loves getting a bath and loves having Matt wash her hair.
Matt has been busy farming, trying to play catch-up. I will get some pictures posted soon!!!

hey kids glad to here that you are home and getting settled in your new house .grandma said that you looked tired and needed to rest more . now all you need to do is listen to good advice and take a nap ...... sleep when the baby sleeps . i will not be able to come to the shower on sat as we have 2 weddings to attend ,but will try to come to the one in manhatten on the 16 th . take some and rest up and enjoy your husband and little girl . love mary jo and ray
Hey Val! Thanks for posting the update on the blog. I stop at this site often just to look at the cutie's pics. She is so adorable and truly a miracle and blessing from God. Also saw the pics your mom took last weekend and you both look so good!!! I love the one of you holding Addi,, wish I could have looked that good after having a baby,, haha.

Hi Welcome home, I deleted my other post by accident, anyway Congradulations, Your Mom sent us the pictures you all look great, and what a cutie our Miss Addi is! and blue eyes too, even though your Matt has blue eyes so does your Mom and Gramma Maina, Wow she is now a Great Great Gramma!! 5 generations,and now I'm a Great Aunt !! God has truly Blessed our family, we thank him each day for all he has done for us and your dear family. Hey there Brack family! Several of my friends that have had you on their church prayer chain said they couldnt get leaving a message to work so I told them I would. They said Congratulations and what a beautiful baby. They read your site often. And said to tell you that you are always in there prayers. The power of prayer and faith is so evident in your beautiful family and little bundle of joy!!
